Readers have cast their votes for the best providers of services in the banking and real estate professions. Since early April, Banker & Tradesman conducted an online survey of readers. We promoted this project via house ads in the newspaper, e-mails to thousands of readers and customers of Banker & Tradesman, and through our website, www.bankerandtradesman.com. Readers responded vigorously to the opportunity to voice their choice. Bruce started his career in House & Mill carpentry, an alumni of Diman Regional Vocational Technical H.S. accomplished 3 years of home drafting at Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, built homes as a carpenter and has been offering home inspections since 1999. Bruce has formal training in home inspection at the Home Inspection Institute of America in Connecticut.

David Hetzel, founder of the Institute, offered Bruce the opportunity to train inspectors at the time in his home state. Bruce trained 6 other inspectors which are licensed in Massachusetts, some of which are expected to license in a newly regulating State, New Hampshire. David Hetzel has since retired and lives happily in Florida.

Bruce also offers an On-Site Home Analysis & Consultation Service. He will come to your property site, carefully inspect the property, walk with you around the property, verbally report to you the deficiencies found and advise remides according to importance. Usually, safety issues will be at the forefront of conversation followed by water penetration, structural, infestation, ventilation, insulation, mechanical, environmental and cosmetic issues. This consultation service is offered with a cost savings to home owners or buyers that have not entered into an agreement yet but have access to the property for inspection. If the buyer has entered into a real estate agreement then there will be a printed report offered according to Massachusetts CMR-266 Standards of Practice, Rules & regulations at regular rates.
