What to expect and what's involved in a home inspection
CNN's Lisa Sylvester, on Lou Dobbs, reports on dangerous drywall imports from China, and how homes across the U.S. are affected.
It is estimated that since 2004, over 100,000 homes have been constructed with imported Chinese drywall nationally. Senator Nelson of Florida believes over 36,000 homes have been constructed with the product in his state. Drywall imported from China is blamed for rotten egg odors and fast metal corrosion inside homes; the product contains sulfur and other materials not found in U.S. made drywall, according to preliminary federal tests.

After millions of sheets of Chinese drywall were imported into the U.S. after mass destruction from the 2005 hurricane season caused a shortage of U.S materials, a federal lawsuit is now demanding that a Chinese manufacturer pay damages for what they say were toxic materials.
